Mr. Felix Gooneratne (Board of Advisors) is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Energy. He has over 28 years of experience in Demand-side Management (DSM) and related energy services in the United Kingdom, Australia, Asia, Africa and the Pacific region. His experience in energy efficiency covers technical efficiency projects in the commercial and industrial sectors, policy and program design, and integrated resource planning. He has extensive project management experience in Asia and the Pacific region with donor agencies such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, United Nations Development Program, USAID, AusAid and the European Commission.

He is currently the Team Leader in the DfID funded Malawi Energy Efficiency Lighting Project (2010 – 2013) which focuses on the implementation of an efficient lighting programs reducing electricity peak demand by about 15%. Other current projects include Implementation of National Energy Efficiency Project in Vietnam (ADB Funded); DSM/EE Phase I Implementation in Lao PDR (World Bank funded); and development of an Energy Efficiency Program for Quezon City, Philippines (World Bank funded) .
Mr. John McGrath (Board of Advisors) is a Director of Imani Development responsible for Imani's office in Malawi. Having joined the group in 1996, John has over twenty years experience in trade, private sector development and project management in Africa. He has been involved in a wide range of private and public sector projects across East and Southern Africa.

He is a development economist specializing in Private Sector enabling environment, International Trade and strategic management focused. He has years of experience in building partnerships across all sectors of the economy and working with business development with strong focus on export creation.

In addition to this, he is the founder of Kwikfit in Malawi, a leading fast fit and automotive parts replacement specialist.
Mr. Arjan Visser (Founder) has been living in Malawi for several years and has been working on strategic projects in the electricity sector for over eight years. He is a director of Eqnon, a strategy consulting firm focused on developing countries with offices in Malawi and The Netherlands. He initiated the development and promotion of electricity kiosks in Malawi using renewable energy and batteries in communities with no electricity. 

In addition to this, he was the co-author of the Millennium Challenge Corporation $350 Million Concept Proposal for the Power Sector in Malawi. 

He is currently the National Coordinator in the DfID funded Malawi Energy Efficiency Lighting Project (2010 – 2013) which focuses on the implementation of an efficient lighting programs reducing electricity peak demand by about 15%. Previously, he worked as a Strategy Consultant in the Energy Sector with Accenture in The Netherlands for more than five years. He studied at the London School of Economics and the University of Twente.
